Simple sentence = Main clause
A Sentence contains a subject
and a verb.
e.g :
1.1 Jhoan
writes a story (svo/c)
.2 Jhoan and jeane wrote a story (ssvo)
.3 Jhoan writes
and publishes a story
.4 Jhoan and Jeane write & publish a story
2. Complex sentence
A Sentence
Contains 2 combined sentences ;main
clause and subordinate clause. The subordinate clause may function as adjective, noun, or adverb.
Adjective clause
(relative clause) usually begins with a pronoun, such as who whom, whose, that describes noun preceeded
e.g : John
writes a story.His father is a doctor.
=> John,
whose father is a doctor, writes a story
B) John writes
a story . I Called him last night
-> John,
whom I called last, writes a story
C) John writes
a story a story. He called me last night
->John, who
called me last night writes a story
3. Compound

Sentence
contains 2 main clauses which is combined by :
